I ordered a H3 8000k HID kit with relay harness from Pilot HID (already have a 9006 8000k kit from them w/ the relay harness in my headlights). The problem that I'm having is that after I installed the relay harness and the kit, when I turn the fogs on, they turn on for a split second then turn off. If I turn them off, wait a second, then turn them back on, they do the same thing, turn on for a split second, then turn off.

I double checked everything (ground, connections, fuses, etc) and still can't find them problem.

If anyone has any idea as to what the problem could be, please let me know!!!

 

bad ballast i have hids in my vrd fogs and they r working fine

 

did you use a relay harness?

and I have the fogs wired to come on with the parking lights, I don't know if that would make a difference or not.

 

switch the connection.... where they connect to the oem harness just flip it....

 

What do you mean by flip it?

 

Never mind, I figured out what the problem was. They were just bad bulbs. I did a group buy with a few of my buddies through PilotHID.com and they just switched the ballast and bulbs that they use and I'm guessing that the first batch is bad because out of 3 kits/6 bulbs, only 1 bulb worked.
