has anybody ever put some gas shocks on there hood so the hood could stay up instead of using that damn stick.. just wondering

It appears there a some interests in this utility light. I'll post a DIY by Monday. You guys will like the setup because it includes a hood switch and a manual switch. The light goes off when the hood is down and during the day time you can manual turn the light off as well. I think all total it costs less than $15-20.
