Default 2008 Factory projector low beam adjustment!!!

I have found many topics, some on projector, some on older headlights, but none on the 2008 OEM factory projector low beams. I recently installed the mobile HID 4300K H11 in the low beams of my 2008 tc. They look BEAUTIFUL. The only thing is i guess from the factory, the drivers side projector points a little higher than passenger side, passenger side is perfect, doesnt glare at drivers, the drivers side when i point car at garage is a little higher, where are the adjustment screws to lower them, i saw a turning arrow with + and - but no screw that looked like it would do it. anyone know or have the 2008 headlights and know, appreciate, and props to mobile HID for the NICE hid's 4300K is perfect color, looks like luxury car's OEM HID lights

I looked for it too but found only the arrows......I think it must be inside the back of the light somewhere........some sort of adjustment screw........

I got lucky as my cutoff is flat on mine..............it is like 3 feet high at 60 feet away all the way across the wall.............no blinding, but reading signs at night sucks........but it did withthe OEM bulbs too.........when you find the adjuster let us know.

i had the same problem with my hid's. there's a little screw in the back. kinda looks like a little gear. turn to adjust the low beam. not sure which way you have to turn it to lower it, but you can figure that out. hope that helps.

Let me tell you a secret that noone knows but you gotta keep it to yourself.
You know the little book that comes with your car and has this huge title in bold "MANUAL". That book teaches you wonderful stuff about your car. I suggest you read it before starting threads

IF its a 2008 tC it should. If its a retrofit to an older tC the manual is worthless to those headlights

no actually u adjust the low beam the same way as older tC halogens. theres a little grey gear lookin thing on the back of the headlight towards the bottom. turn it with ur fingers. one way is to raise the cutoff the other way is to lower the cutoff, its pretty simple. probably need a flashlight or really good lighting outside to find that ****.

that's odd, usually the drivers side would be lower, and stay lower even after u put hids in. did u make sure the bulb is fully in? possibly knocked the headlight? if anything, there is that screw to adjust the cutoff

I was thinking the same thing. My 08 projectors have the drivers side lower so not to blind oncoming traffic. And my passenger side sits a tad higher than the driver side. So as walterego says, Id bet the bulb might not be in the projector the right way. Hope this helps.

no, they're both supposed to be leveled if you're using projectors. But when you aim them, the ground has to be flat and your car facing a wall. Once they're aimed straight, drop them abit about a 15 degree drop. There is a reason w hy projectors(all of them) have a step on the shield.
