Default H-Techs or S-techs? Will exhaust be to Low *Pics* Updated

Hey next thing i want to do to my car is drop, however im having a tough time decideing on what to do, the h-techs are like 1.9 in the front and i forget the rear, the S-techs are like 2.4 in the front and 2.0 in the rear? Please correct me if im wrong im just going off what i recall.....Problem is my megan exhaust hangs pretty low and i think the s-techs ill scrap speed bumps, inclined driveways what not? However i dont want to get the h-techs and be like damn i wish i went lower.....

What is everyones opionion on the h-techs vs. s-techs? is there a notiable difference in stance? or fairly close in looks

here is a shot with of my rear with my low hanging Exhaust

This has been covered in MANY other threads. And u know there are other companies besides tein that make lowering springs. But if those are ur only two options then stech. Htechs are for luxury cars with big wheels. Way too much body roll for my liking.

sway and strut bars help prevent that.

Depends on your road conditions, if your tC is a daily driver, and how much $$$ you want to spend. If you switch to S -Techs, be prepared to swap out your struts as well. (More $$$.) If your local roads aren't in the greatest condition, you're in for a bumpy ride. (Another reason to swap out your struts.) If your tC is your daily driver, your front end is going to take a beating.

You won't nearly have as much trouble with H-Techs. It still gives the tC a very nice overall appearance, you won't have too replace your struts right away, and your ride won't suffer too much. Also, you will avoiding rubbing with certain after market wheel set ups.

If you don't want your tC slammed, go with the H-Techs. BTW- I have TRD Springs.

save money and get coilovers,
because if you are worried about scrapping then you can adjust the height.
Your probally going to have to get new struts down the line anyway.

I'm using stock struts with s-techs. I'm pretty careful, but I still scrap the front a little bit once in a while.

I've got 35K on it now and the springs have been on since september. I'll probably be taking the springs off soon to help the struts last a bit longer until I can afford a set of coilovers.

SVicks it depends on how you drive/ the conditions. I know you want a straight answer but on a fresh new set of stock struts with something like S-techs it could last up to 40k even. Or it could be as low as 20k. If your gonna have a shop intall the springs you might as well just get struts too so you wouldnt have to pay for install twice. TRD's are about 400 anyway. and i think tokicos are even cheaper.

i have a custom exhaust, which probably hangs as low as your exhaust and i scrape all the time..

i cannot go over a speedbump without scraping my pipes, unless i going like 1mph.

i am fully slammed on Tein SS+P's tho, i have no idea how much of a drop that is, its like -1 finger gap in the rear.
