Default Why not to get cheapo Projector headlights

Ok, so well my fiance, being the wonderful person she is decided to buy me projection headlights and gave them to me today. Well, I installed them and the results are horrible.

That is the cut off... the passenger side light goes up and to the right lighting up the houses instead of the road. Great... SO now here's my question. Is the cut off created by the lens only? In other words could I just put in TSX projection lenses and get a better cut off or are these pretty much worthless?? I feel horrible cause I had to tell her that I can't drive with the headlights the way they are and I had to spend another hour and a half putting my stock headlights back in. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Man, that situation sucks. If it was me, I would have told her they were awesome and just put up with the poor light output. But hey, I am sure it can be fixed. I'm just not an HID guy, so I can't offer any advice.

Oh right, yeah, those. Those ones look really good from the outside. Dunno about the cutoff though.

Here is a thread which has cutoff pics near the bottom: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=167782

That thread about fixing the cutoff is really useful. Just what the OP needs. I also found this pic of the cutoff before any adjustment...
