I'm looking for some new wheels, something a bit more on the budget performance side. So i'm looking at some Raze R74's in 17.7 and some Falken azenis rt 615's.
Problem is, the wheels have an offset of 42 and the Azenis size I want is 225.45.17 and i'm not sure if the 45 series sidewall is going to be rubbing.
I'm on Stech's which is why i'm being cautious.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

If they fit I may decide to get a few 5mm spacers and flush them out some more.
Right now i'm on RS1 wheels and a 4series and I rub slightly when the road dips down and back up but nowhere near often enough to show wear line on the tire.
Thanks for the fast reply... when I move these RS1's and my old Flik's out i'm going for it.

do they make the tire in 225/35/17? the slightly shorter sidewall will make a difference. whenever the width of a tire increases, so does the side wall (because the sidewall is a ratio to the width). so a 225/45 tire is wider and taller than a 215/45, despite the same sidewall size.

I did a quick measurement of an Evo we have on our lot that has Yoko advans, 235 45 17's on it and if my measurements are right the overall height of the wheels and tires on the evo is about an inch smaller than the 18's I have now. So I don't see height being an issue.
BUT, those tires made me want a 235 rather than a 225, so i'm hoping the 235 will fit. I don't see an issue with that from what i've searched. I just hope the 7inch Raze wheel will be wide enough to hold a 235? Does that sound right?
