I have one on display in my store. The picture quality is far better than any of the other monitors on the board. I believe it 's because of the fiber optic connection. The only negative that I find on the unit is the motorization. It comes in and out a little too fast for my taste. And its not as smooth as lets say a kenwood or pioneer. It seems to be a little jittery on the way in and out. Hope this helps.

yeah, I did sell one, be aware that you have to install a center channel with a small amp as well to get the full effect of the 5.1 dolby digital surround that comes with this unit.. good luck

Yeah the unit is a really nice piece and it comes with a tv tuner for a nice price, the screen is extremely clear, with a great amount of sharpness, brightness and an excellent off axis view... the only drawbacks are that it's not touchscreen and like miamijdm said the motorization is at hyperspeed or something... good if your passing a cop i guess...

I seriously doubt that unless y'all don't sell Alpine. The flagship Alpine pwns anything on the market in picture quality. Go to the real audio forums or simply adjust each screen optimally.

Go to Rockford's website and check out their forums. Reviews on their aren't so great.

Sorry don't mean to bash, just don't want him to get something inferior.

nah, we don't sell Alpine anymore. I have a kenwood 815dvd next to it and the rockford image is nicer. I was just comparing it to what we have on the board.

ps, here in Miami, Alpine is a dead fish.. I love the product but you can't give it away here... No one wants it.. go figure.

The minority appeal of Alpine isn't there? Alpine ain't cheap either, sticker on that thing is like $2,300 or so.

I to sell the Rockford it has very good picture and for the price it smokes the Alpine
hands down. The only thing i have had a problem with is when you are closing it make sure it is lined up straight as it does swivel it will jam. And as far as touch screens
in the car eat some fry's and then touch your screen. It is a nice feature but damn finger prints blur the picture, when the sun hits.
