It seems about right. They put a ton of options on it, and non-scion options like leather so they can tell you that costs as much as they want to.

for 20k I think they could have done more with the exterior it looks to bland for that amount of money but then again I have not seen it in person.

the car on the site doesn't look like they did anything ...psssh...stock hub caps!!! c'mon...atleast the dealer should post a picture of the said vehicle...because if it really had those options there would be mad pics of it..besides it doesn't even have a body kit...so it will still look normal without that most important option...so I sure if this 20k xA was really dope there would be pics..... :(

Ok, I'm new here and I just saw this post and I have a gripe that maybe someone can explain to me. If you add mods to your car and take it to the dealer, the trade in value goes down, but if the dealer mods the car, It's ok?

well, these are "options," not mods. . .

on the topic of mods and value, "ricey" mods reduce value, that's for sure. Also non OEM grade materials (most body kits/bumpers, springs, bad installs), gigantic wings (which are subject to taste and hard to sell), non OEM lighting (ILLEGAL), tint (bubbles and is usually too dark and ILLEGAL), mufflers that are not legal, performance mufflers on econocars(99% of buyers of econocars want econocars and not loud fart machines).

I'm not knocking on mods, but face it; the majority of people laugh at mods. I love 'em, and personalize my vehicle to my taste, but dealers look at it as a numbers thing. . . meaning that the harder it is to move a car off a lot, the less they'll be willing to give you for it.

Things that may increase value:
Audio systems (deck and changer, no massive subs), performance tuning on PERFORMANCE cars, some alarms, alloy/aftermarket wheels, high quality aftermarket interior upholstery/seats. . .

Yeah I love and hate car dealers. . . they are the ultimate in business/business strategy, as they have nothing to do with the product; all they do is buy and sell.

One of the main goals car dealers is to make sure that cars stay on the lot for as LITTLE time as possible, because each day that car sits unsold, it looses value, and that costs money.
