Since my wife and I work together, on occasion we have both boxes in the parking lot. An older guy stopped by the other day and asked who owns the xB's. He put wheels on his 05 before trading it for a Matrix :eyebrow: and offered his original set of steel wheels and Eagle LS tires for $150. I offered him $75, but he was insistent that a wrecking yard would give him $40 a piece for his wheels. I told him good luck. Would you have passed?

$150's a decent price for steelies and tires.

I would have givin $100 tops. I mean, what are you going to do with them? Unless you NEED them.... If you NEED them then $150 is a good price if they're like new

I put my 17's on my wife's xB and her stock wheels on mine for the winter so I could chain up if I need to. I thought about painting the steel wheels body color to get by until I get another set of 17's in the spring. I guess a hundred would be fair. An extra set to mount snows on would be a good idea, but only if the price is right.

I paid $100 bucks for someones steelies that had only a few thousand miles on the tires. I personally wouldn't pay more that $100.

$150 with tires - if they're in decent shape - is a killer deal.

Yeah, it's fair but they go here regularly for about 100 plus shipping. That could have gone either way. If ya don't need them right now you would just have more "stuff" to store.

bbszero69, I 'm sure this guy still has them. He sold his xB a year ago. The wheels are in Salem, though. If ya wanna, I can try to get his info for you.
