My dealer said 2-3 weeks, southern florida, Whats der mean?

 

Install a security camera at the dealership
wait for a delivery truck with a tC that you like
call them
tell them to hold it
get in your current POS car (j/k)
start your POS engine (j/k)
leave your POS house (j/k)
go to the dealership where you installed the security camera
tell them you are the one who called
get in your tC
tell them you'll be back in a half hour
forget how to get back to the dealership
boom

you have a brand new tC

 

You COULD do all those steps, or you could just get suckered into buying a Special Edition tC for 4 grand more and replace half of the options anyway.



My wait time was 4 weeks.

 

haha ... the fake release series (tC Special Edition) is $4000 more? crazy...

my dealer told me 4-6 weeks wait all i ordered was stock with just the auto dimming mirrors, they had a few tcs that were comming in a week but had alot of options installed on it already. I guess the wait time really depends on what u want or dont want on the car.

 

They told me 6 weeks for the color that I want. I came back a week later to put a deposit and the color I wanted was waiting in the parking lot. I picked it up that day. :D

 

i just went into the dealer ship thinking any color as long as its a stick. bam had a white one, 0 wait time.

 

The dealership where I placed my deposit said 3-6 weeks. Unfortunately it's a sucky dealership. The sales guy didn't know much about the car. I asked him if the MP3 deck was stock and he said no, the pioneer deck is like $200 and that the stock deck was not a pioneer.

 

What exactly is the Limited Edition tC? Never heard or seen it.......

 

I've been waiting over a month now. The dealer claims my car arrived at the port in Houston last Friday so hopefully I'll be driving it by the end of this week. :D

I placed the order on Aug 21 with Grossinger in Lincolnwood IL, .... on Sept 20 I got the call from the dealer that my Silver tC was in waiting for me. I had several options to choose the azure, indigo wich were availble sooner but I choose to wait. Everything the dealer promis... happen later.

I am in the same boat..3 to 7 days...now going on a little over a month. And they also said they got a 1 of 500 special edition TC's...but was an automatic and all the stuff I didnt order. The really thing on the TC spe was the chrome grill and the leather seats.

they told me 6-8 weeks, it took seven... that was after he found one sitting on a lot in the chicogo area had it sent over. then the day of its arival the truck it was on broke down and was hauled back w/ my car the next day i had my keys in my hand

 

ukcountess, I have a deposit on one in Tampa at Stadium. They said they get orders in every other Thursday and mine would be 2 orders out, which is around the 18th. I ordered one with side airbags, which I thought would be hard to get. They said don't worry, they move 400 Toyotas a month and get what they ask for!!

 

Update: I just picked mine up yesterday so it took just over a month. :D

 

i'm putting down a deposit for mines tomorrow and it'll get here (dallas) next wed.

 

Just got the call today that mine will be hitting LA around the 8th and in town by a few days later. Yay, finally!

Original order around the 3rd week of September.
