Hey guys,

I'm looking to get an aluminum Dash Kit for my tC, but I'm wondering how it will stay on when it gets really cold in winter. I know they use 3M tape, but I just feel that the glue wouldn't hold it onto the plastic in the really cold weather. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Experiences?? I could use the advice.

um yes epoxy would be messy, plus, epoxy won't harden when it's cold outside. you can add hardnener but that's just a mess to do.

epoxy you buy at home depot that comes in the dual tubes about 3 inches big. its holds my grill together and bonded it. its not the messy if your careful

Well has anyone had a dash kit come off because of the cold? I mean if the 3M is good, then i wouldn't have to go through all that..

3m tape held on my spoiler to the back of my car all winter... and I am turboed so that thing endured some moderate to high speeds. Just dont install it when its freezing.
