Your gonna pay extra extra for the auto. I think its an additional grand for automatic tranny, then the $980 for the r.s.1.0 package.

I guess ill be ordering those MB 72 something or others instead of the TRDs. Doc, got any price on the TRDs?

Well this is for my girl so we gots to get an auto, I thihnk it is gonna be a show car and not a race car so it doenst matter.

I saw on one of Vernoe's post, talking about a lava Tc done up like the General Lee ( dukes of hazzard ) Man that's a good idea but I don't think it would be in good taste here in waldorf, but it is a neat idea, I used to love that show, Bo and Luke of course Dasy and those dasy dukes.... wow wow. Lets see if someone will weld the doors shut, hahaha

Those TRD 18" rims are MSRP'd at $1795!!!!
That is expensive! I am gonna bypass those and go for the 5Zigen wheels I like!

Waiting til March isnt bad considering that us on the East side have been waiting a long enough time to get the xB's even over here. Another month means more times to save for other goodies. I'm in between right now on getting a Black or waiting til the 1.0 comes out. Any comments ideas? Other then being Hot Lava and matching strut bar and differnt interior whats going to be different about it? Whats the base price for the 1.0 going to be also?

Jd it has orange light inside plus different seats too, I think this is pretty smart kicking off a limited release 1 month after the east coast launch should increase sales and market awareness of Scion that Lava color will really turn heads

The package for the 1.0 is $980 more... you should get a regular xB in Feb... So that there wont be very many 1.0's rollin around, that would make mine more rare!!!! Seriously, either way, there will be others, and they will be different than this one too!

You go back to your dealer and tell those bastards they don't need more than 1 RS 1.0 xB's showing up on their lot. We dont need to have a bunch rollin around, it is our job to be unique, dont let them ruin it....

They are asking, it aint gonna happen, I call corporate and told them to send all the Lava Boxes to the West Coast except for those that have already been ordered...

Honestly, they are making 2100 of them, there are 105 dealerships in Cali alone, and they will be released through out the south, the Gulf states and the east coast...

If cali were to get all of them, with 105 dealers, thats 20 per dealer... do you really think an East Coast Dealer is gonna get 5 of them?

Anything is possible. As long as they are taking orders for them, most likely they'll get what ever they order. I doubt if they are gonna turn down orders on a newly released car do you :?: .

I found'em here http://www.wheeloptions.com/wheels.html. They're made by SpeedMaster model # SM-046 and the finish is called Team Orange. Unfortunately, I just noticed, after looking at the site again, the only sizes they have in this finish are 15x6.5 with +40 and +38 offset. :(

and yeah...hehe not sure if they'd totally match the color since I haven't seen them in real life but...just thought it was cool...well would *be* cool if they did match.

Not to hate on anybody here but does anyone agree with me that if alot of people go out and order this "special version release series" of the HOT LAVA xB, then in a way it loses it's "special status?" Are most of you ordering this one b/c it is a great value (980 for all the goodies) OR b/c you want to be unique and labeled 1/2100?? Personally I think it takes the fun out of starting out with a butt stock one and going from there. Either way I'm just curious.

hey doc...you should rock those oarnge wheels and get a sponsorship from Tropicana! I've got more people interested in the 1.0 then I've got cars allocated...would you want to donate your's to me?

BTW, which 5 zigens are you looking at? I've been planning on getting the FN01's in bronze, but now I see them everywhere. It may be back to the drawing board for me!

I almost decided that I didn't want a Scion because there was no color that really made me happy. The one day the orange one appeared and within minutes I was calling my dealer because the xB that was meant for me arrived.
There are not many options that are extra, but the upgrades I want to do, would have to be done on any xB, but I understand your stock/build-up idea.

I don't see how the Lava Box will lose its special status once all 2100 are sold... over 6000 xB's were sold in Cali alone, from June to November. In february, 23 more states will start selling Scions, it they each sell half of what Cali dealers sold, then they will sell 500 xB's per month, each, that works out this...
23 states multiplied by 500/mo multiplied by 5 months (til June)

23*500*5= 57,500

That means that it is possible for Scion to sell 57,500 xB's in 5 months, if these states sell half of what Cali did. Then in June 26 more states will start selling xB's.

Then if you factor in the xA's and the tC's in June, you are easily looking at 100,000 Scions by the end of the year... 2100 orange ones would definitly be special...

Thats what I think... but either way, I think the Hot Lava xB is one of the hottest cars I have ever seen!!!

Not only will I not donate my Lava Box to you, but you had better figure out a way to start selling reg xB's again...

I am looking at the 18" White 5ZR Copse rims, white rims on the orange box... my plates will say "CRMCYKL".......

Just kidding, I want those rims but in silver...

I wonder if they would sponsor?

Even if everyone in Cali got a hot lava I think it will still be rare to see. The options on it still make it pretty much stock. I plan on putting a whole lot more on mines so theres no fun takin out of it. Not only that but your 1 in 2100

Ok, is it true that this limited edition orange xB will NOT come with rims? It's gonna come with hub caps?!?!?! Hell no, I don't even want to hear about this thing ever again. sorry, it's cool and all, but I was hoping it would come with wheels standard. I'm hoping to keep to Scion stock, so that's why. I know everyone else wants to add on stuff.

This model still comes with only hub caps with the option of alloys. If thats what you are looking for just have the dealer install alloys or trd's. For the price of the 1.0 I baleive your getting what you pay for and more.

The RS packages does NOT come with any special alloy. Just the lame-___ hubs.' It's a $950 (something like that) package, it's not going to roll a 19" rim with that little bit of money.
