Well, I bought my intake on ebay and the sensor hole is to big. If I connect the sensor the car shots off. I can leave it with ot a sensor however the check engine light comes on.

What do I do? please help!

well your first mistake is buying it from ebay, you pay for what you get. 2nd if the sensor hole is big then you must have a 07/08 and that intake is for a 05/06 cause it's a different size sensor between those years. yes your Check Engine Light will come on if the intake isn't installed correctly, your best bet is regreading you bought it off ebay and tossing it in the trash and saving for a well known name brand intake.

A) Return to stock.

B) Buy a tested "name brand" intake from AEM, K&N, Injen, Fujita, etc.

C) Keep it as is and deal with lower performance and reliability.

Thats one of the risks when buying from ebay, my MAF barely fits, the screw hole are a tab bit off but i got it to work. You got two choices, send it back and demand a replacement, or you could make some sort of shim to take up the gap, such as a larger O ring on top of the one already present.

f***, I drove it to school now and there is so much loss of boost, I'm guessing because of the escape of air through the sensor. I will defiantly try to bug the seller for money back. if that does not work I will take my losses and start saving for a new one.

uhhh.. you didn't lose any boost because you had none to start with.

seriously, driving with a big hole in your intake, with your sensor disconnected, and a CEL light is just really bad.

A) Return to stock.

B) Buy a tested "name brand" intake from AEM, K&N, Injen, Fujita, etc.

C) Keep it as is and deal with lower performance and reliability.
listen to the guy.. and pick one.. and choose and do one before you decide on turning on your vehicle again.
