I haven't posted new pics my car in a long while so here goes. but before i do that here's a few pics of the early stages of the retrofit.




here's what responsible for the bad output in the 08 projectors. the shield as you can see isn't designed for hid light as you can also see with the bowl. the halogen lens on the other hand can be used. i chose otherwise




here's a peak at the razor sharp modded cutoff i've been telling a fellow scion life member about shot out side the car. the other is the a what it looks like inside the car. if the pic is slightly crooked b/c i don't have a tripod but it give the idea of what i have.





heres overall size comparison of the the projectors involved in the whole process.

from top to bottom Lexus rx330 afs, oem 08 scion tc projector minus cutoff plate, valeo h7 which was pulled out of an audi a4 headlight.

lens comparison shot. the one the left is the Lexus & the right is the stock halogen lens. i almost went with the halogen but went with the Bmw e30 clear lens b/c of the results of of other retro fitters out there.



heres a look inside the projector i selected with the cuttoff shield attached. also heres a shot look down through bulb holder and reverse.








a daytime shot of the headlight + taillight installed (i painted the the tails with vans lens paint if you must know. yes, tried the overlay out from bats but it just didn't have the oem look i was looking for) hurray for no fogging.

So is there a new projector involved or did you just modify the cut-off plate?

as i said before bigger and newer pics are coming soon. just be satisfied with what i shared 4 the time being.

playin with fire+ cosigners.....the server i dumped the all the pics on is down so all i could manage to provide thus far are the 3 the pics i posted on car domain. so please tell what am i to genius especially since the camera i shot them with is being for a birthday party too.

lol your logic is misguided. one who has a life beyond their ride wouldn't want to come back repeatedly to update a half completed thread. One who had a life beyond their ride would create a full thread once and then go on to attend to their life beyond their ride. The creation of this half complete thread with the promise to return is not supportive of the position you present in your statement above.

in any event, whatever you have to present and share with the board is met with appreciation. Regardless of the sentiments expressed above whenever you have time to finish posting your pictures I'm sure the board and myself will be most grateful.
