if it works when you turn it on the second time, most likely the ballast is going out. so you have to replace it

That's kind of what happened to me. My right hid went out, and if i switched it off and back on it would be good for a little while. Now the bulb is dead and I don't think that's the only problem. I ordered a kit from mobileHID and I'm gonna replace what I have with the new one.

i cant find pics but u can find it at pep boys or autozone. should be in the front counter and its in a small packet. basically conducts the connection with the positive and negative without U-shaping and conducting to one other.

3 things...

1) Happy Birthday.

2) It's probably your relay. I've had a couple of local SL members contact me about their relays going out due to mounting them in an area that is more exposed to the elements than normal (it's been raining a lot here lately) and once the relay was replaced, the lights lit up fine.

3) Have a great weekend!

Wouldn't THIS work as well for the connections?

If you have the operatic kit with the relay harness check the fuses. I had a problem with both my lights cutting out then coming back on when I hit large bumps. It was the fuse for the main power line. The fuses are really cheap and when I pulled it out to check it it came out in 2 pieces. I replaced it with good quality fuses and havent had a problem since.
