Satellite Radio Option
I'd like to get either XM or Sirius installed in the car. I will not go to the dealer for this!
Is it possible to hook up either aftermarket kits to the radio? Not the plug and play kind, but the hard wired setup into the back of the radio.
Thanks.

well how about it???? no one really knows the answer to this?.....I would also like to get SIRIUS cause there's no way in hell i'm getting XM...but i'm not willing to spend extra money on a new headunit and all that....if setting up the SIRIUS is the same as the XM setup than it's worth doing...
So anyone know? is it possible to use the stock headunit for the SIRIUS radio?

Through a FM modulator, you can use sirius or XM with ANY radio that has FM radio built in. There is no way to hook sirius without an external tuner. The only way you can get sat directly through the factory deck is to buy the dealer add on part. For the price, you can easily get an aftermarket deck and the tuner.
After having both Sirius and XM, I recommend Sirius any day over XM.

Yes, but you can get the dealer one which will display song title and stuff on the factory HU. If you go with an external sirius unit, it will have its own display and everything and just feed the signal to the stock stereo.
