just what the xB needs, more weight to pull around
beathookup 09-25-2003, 01:42 PM all the rap stars just might be rolling around with their spinner rims on these like no limit or cash money records someone is bound to do it sooner or later
eric_m 09-25-2003, 02:51 PM someone in georgia already did that to an xB? crazy. nice chrome handles. really classy.
Longoscion 09-27-2003, 04:46 AM Actually that car is owned by Scion corp. That car is currently touring. I got a chance to drive that car for the weekend........scary.
mrbadass03 09-27-2003, 06:55 AM only thing is....can the crummy/small engine that is regularly put in an xB handle that kind of extra weight :?: :!:
i would think they would have to swap in another engine or sumthin. 108hp/105 foot-pounds of torque isnt gonna cut it.

in a word...no
check out the autoweek article where the limo was used as the prom limo alternative.

the funny quote in the article is the guy asking "Where's the bar?"
bBOXD 09-29-2003, 05:05 AM That thing is pretty sick lookin though. :)

the engine is small, but its not crummy....its not like its an american 4-banger...jeeez
well, you know the tranny on the scion is geared pretty low. I don't see why the limo wouldn't work
Placebo 10-02-2004, 04:54 PM nice

I meant to ask if you wanted to drive the Scion limo at my wedding. Ali wasn't a fan of that one...we ended up having a horse carriage.

Have you tried calling custom shops?
Maybe something like a hot rod shop, someplace that does alot of sheetmetal/fab work?
Or if you want a super stretch, talk to a few limo rental companies and find out who makes their limos.
Max2k 10-02-2004, 06:14 PM Did anyone else notice that that looks like a stretch bB?
It looks like it's RHD, the rear hatch is JDM, and it's got the JDM chrome door handles and trunk handle cover.

Yeah, but it's got the USDM badges and FL plates on it. I'm guessing it's an xB that got sent to one of those custom shops where they stretch expeditions and hummers. Then they just added the chrome handles.

No rear sidemarker + a-pillar radio antenna.
But it looks like a Taurus in the refelction. :?
I say it's a bB sent stateside.

chucksu 10-03-2004, 12:07 AM  That looks different. I would hope the shop that does that, drops in a Supercharged Corolla engine to help move the thing along.

I'm not convinced it's RHD....I'm on the fence. I can't tell if that's a steering wheel in the window or something reflecting.

I think it could be a bB, unless they took of the rear side reflectors from the rear bumpers.

Damn it Kenshi!
You pulled a fast one on me.
komik 10-03-2004, 02:51 AM There, I edited my post in the other thread to include the link to this one. Happy?
bBlover 10-03-2004, 03:05 AM It has to be RHD. How can you put the 1st Gen bB bumper and hatch on our xB??? I will ask if it is because my stepdad (works for Toyota) saw it when it first came off the ship @ the port in LB last year. I'll ask and reply.
chucksu 10-03-2004, 03:07 AM Also just saw something to, looks like it has rear disk brakes  :?
