The Catch:

I need your car for 3-4 days

If you want a kit, you get it at cost and installed for free.

IF you don't want a kit, your car will be returned to you just as you dropped it off. And a big big thank you. :) Plus I can help you with just about any performance part you would ever need....so think of it a networking....you help me I help you :):)

I just need a car to design the parts....you dont have to get a kit for me to do the work.

As for blowing up your motor, I am not trying to create the highest HP xD right from the start, but a reliable kit. It would have a conseravtive tune. :):)

well I would be willing to make the drive, but what would "at cost" be? kinda on a budget right now. How much hp are you talking about gaining? do you also install the intercooler? What is your past resume? What have you done before that has been mass produced?

ok.... I have seen some of his work and you are safe if you take the trip. As far as the at cost goes, it will definitly be worth it if you have the paper.... He will get it right the first time, every time. He is talking about a full kit, turbo, intercooler....

once summer rolls around im sure theres gona b alot more intrist in this. am sure that most of us cant find the time with school and or work.
but also im sure there are plenty of people that are a bit scared of haveing their car be a test subject(im not implying that turbotoyotas is bad).

Kit is till in its prototype phase.

using a log style manifold (can do EL style sidewinder but you have to relocate battery)

Going to have two options: GT28RS or T3/T4OB based on a T3 flanged turbine housing.

Haven't yet determined pricing yet but shooting for XXXX.00 with injectors and management(no plug n play harness yet)based on the T3/T4 turbo.

Output will depend on boost levels ran but shooting for 200whp.



200 whp would be what I'm looking for. Just enough to have some fun and not get in trouble. I don't think a 2700 lb FWD car needs 300+hp, but the more the merrier on the straight track :rofl:

did you take out the price, or did he email you the XXXX.00, lol? im guessing this kit comes intercooled as well? might be needing a new clutch at 200whp. i think there is one already out?

you have secondary injector to make it five? post up pics and more details man.. where did you put the 5th? you said you have no management but can the stock ecu handle this kind of change?

yes, the pics are at home is basically like a nos setup but, it is located between the throttle and the bov, its not visible but today i'll try to post pics...yes it can handle so far so good, if i want more boost the stock clutch will be damaged, and the pistons will also be damaged, for more boost it will not be stock clutch or stock internals...

lol you would need something to drive that injector it would not fire on its own where is the intercooler where is the bov all that good stuff

this was at 9 psi infinity 305 hp, from 30 mph to 142 mph and i was with 3 more passengers...,now i am at 12 psi he doesn't want to run again lol

no 142 was my top speed, but because it was too much on an xD didn't wanted an accident, it was starting 5th gear and then slowed down that's why on the video i shift 5th and then stopped i was already at 140 mph, don't u notice that in fourth gear the rpm doesn't have a limit?? mine doesn't it keeps up like 8,000 rpm but i shift on 7,000

Well earlier he said he wasn't using the stock ecu, or no ecu at all, so there shouldn't be a rev limit or speed governor.

I thought he said this is on stock ecu? how in the world would the car run without an ecu?

i have my stock ecu, but try and full throttle on fourth gear...and see if it rev...

I hit it once in second gear and it was around 6,700rpms. The car lost the power for a few seconds...

What's the gear ratio of the xD on 5th gear? I never thought this car would be able to go 140 on 4th gear....

The tranny on my 2ZR-FE Yaris (which should be the same as the one on the xD) was at 6400rpms (red line) at 125mph on 5th gear. To be able to go 140mph on 4th gear means that you have a quite longer gear ratio...

hmm interesting, the xd could then take a tc easily up to redline

if the car has the power i really can...i think toyota didn't thought we would run 140, the tC being a sport car maybe they made the speed gov...
