Default finally got my HOTCHKIS springs and TOKICO HP SHOCKS..but

I don't think I'm going to put them on until next check. I'm looking forward to buy FRONT n REAR camber kit. I was looking on ebay and came across the SPC FRONT n REAR CAMBER KIT for $185 shipped. Is this a good deal or should I just get a the HOTCHKIS REAR CAMBER KIT only for $217?

Don't really even know if you really need them. I hotchkis springs with tokicos on the way, but have not really noticed any camber issues after the initial allignment...

there is no need for a camber kit, just get an alignment after a couple weeks.

hid's are easy kamikaze, if you take your time I am sure you could do it yourself... get either Mobile HID's kit or Operatics HID kit, both plug and play with harness, fuses, and relay! I have used both and both are good kits... and you really can't mess up hooking it up...

Im also on Hotchkis springs i actually thought i didnt need a camber kit either. I figured the shop could do it but said something about the bolt wouldnt budge anymore. I was at a -1.9* in the rear and the mechanic at a local brake shop put it to -1.6-7*. He says i would need a camber kit if i wanted it back to stock? Check out this thread for camber....

the stock set up doesnt allow for camber adjustment, if you want truely adjustable camber you need to get a camber kit. other wise with a HOTCHKIS drop you will have a lot of negative camber (i know i had the drop and had crazy camber) and you will chew through tires like crazy and you will have a pull, probably even with an alignment. so i would say yes get the camber kit. i have since gotten the H&R coilovers and braught the car up a bit correcting some of the camber but not enough to make me happy

I have the hotchkis springs and the shop I went to was able dial out the camber with the stock adjustments. i beleibe they are withing .9 or something like that.
Seems to depend on what shop you go to.

Seriously, Yankie, who's a$$ is that in your avatar

hm.. thats interesting because i was at the toyota and they did changed my camber.. so how did they to that? i wanted to buy camberkit and as i heard scions got camber kit and you can set it up but not that much.,... if you have 19 wheels then you have to buy an upgraded camber kit.. which is gonna be the same like the stock camber kit but u are able to set it to higher numbers...

BTW i have hotchkis and tokicos (installed already) and to be honest i didnt feel too much difference in the first time.............

i changed my shocks because i wanted to feel some ride comfort -difference.... well i realized if i want difference i must buy different springs because hotchkis is poop........... one of the worst springs to install and to ride.....

well after a few week testing now i would say i do feel some dfference.. not too ... big but now im happier with this setup than the stock shocks+ hotchkis srings.

my bro want to get a scion 2... i will never let him to buy hotchkis springs... there is so many springs out there... tanabe... progress..etc etc they all have nice drops and better ride comfort...

Wow. So which other springs on a tC have you ridden in? I'd like to hear from first hand experience.
I've riden in Eibach Pro kit which fealt gret, but a very minor drop, just like my old TRDs. I also rode on Tien H.Techs which were just as stiff as my Hotchkis but not as low, so not worth it IMO.

Plus, my wife thinks my Hothchkis ride fine, so that's good enough for me.

shocks wont make too much difference.............. the key is the springs!!!

konis??? did you know you have to modify your front shocks to install konis????? i wouldnt buy konis.......... if u need damper adjustment go with coilovers... if you really NEEED new shocks go with tokicos.. they are CHEAP!! only $400 .. this is cheaper than trd shocks...
