I have an 08 tc should I go for the 6000k or 8000k lights? I like 8000k a bit more but I dont know if that will get me pulled over by cops alot.

i bought all the bulbs from 4300k to 12000k and what i like the most is 6k because i never got pulled over with it. 8k i did

i would go with 6000k

its really if you want more white or more blue?

I just installed my 6000k HIDs today, they look amazing. I'd say stick to 5 or 6 cause once you go past 6, the more blue you get and the less you will see

i have texon 8500k that i bought off of texonstore.com. i don't have projectors, and i haven't had any trouble with the five0 (knock on wood)... they look good too...mostly white with a tad shade of aqua-blue

my cousin just put the 8K mcculloch kit on his 350Z, they are PHUKING BLUE!!!!!!!!!!

like i said...its pretty muck if you want white or blue....thats really the only question there is.....cause if you wanted more light then youd go with 4300k

5k or less b/c its closet to sunlight as you can get. as i said in a previous post, 6k have a bluish hue to them not a completely blue but bluish hue none the less.

Well with that pic i have decided on the 6k its more light and they look sweet. so I hope you can decided from that pic too.

6000k is white with a hint of blue. 8000k is blue with a slight hint of purple. with projectors, i'd go with 5000k or 6000k. 8000k is too blue

Im going with 6000k because the whole shpiel, that iv read on several forums, on how the more blue you get the less visible light and your visibility gets poor. Althought I love the bluer look it doesnt seem practical. If anything later on ill switch out the bulbs to 8000k if i really feel the need 2. Thanks again everyone for all your input, you guys really helped seal my final decision.

California Law states HIDs are illegal in cars that dont come factory with HIDs . With 8000k the light is more of a blue so you will catch the cops eye more than if you were to have 6000k .

I'm pretty sure most states have this law, you just don't know about it.

Well you can buy them from www.oznium.com . I have his kit but in 6000k and i love it ! Check it out . His is a plug and play so it takes about 15 mins to install and the light output is great !

Left definately looks like something in the 4300-5000k area with pure white, 6000k definitely has a noticible hint of blue.
