The fitment is fanstatic. I had issues with my last diversion panel. Those tie-downs just replace your stock tie-downs.

The tie downs are not absolutely necessary, your OEM tie down pieces will work just fine. The DME tie downs are designed to finish off the custom look.

This piece really cleans up the look of your engine bay. It covers up the unsightly gap between your front bumper and your radiator. These panels look great and since they come from NST, you can be sure they will fit perfectly.

Here are a few things you can consider though...

1. Is the Greddy panel a one piece unit? Is it stainless steel?
2. Does the Greddy panel have a hole cut in it so that your hood prop does not rattle?
3. Does Greddy have an account here on SL to provide you customer service?
4. Does Greddy have their president on AOL Instant Messenger waiting to help you?
5. Does Greddy sponsor tC events such as ScionExpo, ScionInvasion, etc?

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the bent panel. We have shipped many of these pieces using the same shipping method, USPS Priority Mail, and we have never had this problem. I have definitely taken your comments into account and will try to improve on packaging and shipping in the future.

Please feel free to return the product that was damaged by the shipping company and we would be happy to replace it for you.

But to cheese out on packaging and have parts damaged sucks for buyers and you'll lose money too.

I hope you fix this, and I am still more than willing to try one - as long as I see others that don't get damaged goods.

Like I stated above... we have shipped many of these panels (20+ pieces) using the exact same shipping method, USPS Priority Mail, over the past few months and we have never had any problems. This is the first time I have heard of such an issue.

As I stated above, we would be more than happy to look into any potential problem with the current shipping method (99% positive feedback so far) and improve if necessary.

Starting out is tough, and a mistake can ruin a small company.
Plus, there's NOTHING worse than opening a package and having damaged goods.
My wife ordered a multi-thousand dollar lamp that got broken in shipping because it was packed badly.
The bummer was not the money - it was insured - but the over 100-year old lamp was irreplaceable.

I will be buying a panel from you in two weeks, unless more folks report damaged parts.

As you said, it must have been a fluke during shipping. We have shipped many of these over the past several months and no one has received a damaged piece so far. Even still, I will take some measures to make sure this never happens again, no matter what USPS does with the package!

Hopefully some of the others who have ordered these pieces from us will speak up with their experiences. I would love to hear from more people and see more pics posted.

Do not hesitate to buy anything from NST. The shipping bent items comment was completely uncalled for. I am sure everybody has a story from 1 time or another involving a shipping company. The item is packed just as well as any other panel.

You will NOT find any threads, posts, or comments about anyone ever being ripped off by NST.
Thousands of comments about NST, and they have all been positive since 2005.

+1 on the Weapon R diversion panel being a POS. I have one and I hate it- too floppy. Their headers however KMFA!

+100 on a GB for these DME panels!

They can be rattle canned but I recommend powdercoating it. Just from personal experience. You should def order one Elijah... they look great!

i had this panel before..great but i ended up giving the panel to my girl...i miss it and wondering whether i should buy another one....kinda want a chrome panel

Indeed! I love it. Whenever I see a tC engine bay without this diversion panel it makes me cry a little inside lol... that gap just looks hideous without the panel.

yea but this panel is kinda hard to keep clean..its not as easy to just wipe the panel with a soft damp cloth.

just got mine last night fast shipping! i opened the package and i was like "what the funk" why is it white?? the i realized it had vinyl on it :doh: i'll post pics when i install it tonight after work.only complaint is that it was a little bend on each corner.nothing i cant fix tho.

Hehe :P These are EXCELLENT pieces, and they come with a protective layer (the white one) which you remove after you finish your installation.

ill take a pic tomorrow morning. it fits ok except the little gap between the front of the panel and the bumper. and i have an authentic kaminari kit.

Who is DME?

So I'm about to order the DP and Tie down kit when I start thinking about the strut bar to have a nice matching set.

How far over the valve cover does that hang?

I have a spark plug cover on the way and I want to make sure it doesn't cover it cuz it will kind of be a focal piece under my hood.

Ordered the DP, rad. tie down kit, and front strut bar. Can't wait!

Was gonna order the battery tie down but needed polished so ordered another.

CRAP! I ordered the honda fit front strut bar instead of the tc.

I'm powder coating it all black. I think once I get my valve cover done with my spark plug cover, that strut bar will really pop and look good. It's all about looks for me on my '08.

Those are the first ones, i've seen. Since most people usually get the other color.

They both look great, but most people do order the black ones.
Either choice is better than the OEM tie downs in my opinion, and we have both silver and black in stock at the moment.

Just an FYI.
I finally received the diversion panel via usps. Problem was it was bent in the middle. Pretty badly.

I was pretty ____ed offed, but after thinking about it. I took matters into my own hands. I wrapped it in cloth and took a hammer to it. After about an hour. It looks like it should.

Took off the sticky protective wrapper, cleaned it up, and it looks absolutely great. Quality is top-notch.

Still waiting on the tie-downs, lol.

when i ordered a dme torque damper and a diversion plate, my torque damper came, and 1 or 2 days later, the diversion plate came, or was it the other way around.... might be the same for you guys? *shrug*

I got notice about the back-ordered tie-downs on the reciept I received with my diversion panel.

yeah mine is on the receipt to (just noticed :doh:) but still..would have been nice to have been notified a little sooner
