Default Scion tC Headrest TV's

So for my next mod I wanna get the headrest tv's

my only question is, do you have to buy them whole (which i mean headrest included) or can you somehow just buy the monitors and install them on the stock headrests.

Is it even possible to take a knife to your own headrest and stuff a tv there?
Do most headrest tv's come with the headrest included?

All feedback is appreciated.

I have seen some people get tv;s put on the stock headrest but imo doesnt look right. You have to find the proper size and any ways i would recommend going to a professional for some input. I have the ones that came with the headrest also.

The only people that could see them are the people driving behind you the rear seat is way to small for anyone bigger than a small child and why wast the money on that. Another thing to think about is if you did do it how much would they be used. You could just get a 2 din head unit that has GPS and DVD. That is just my 2 cents, imo i would do the 2 din if anything.

^ I've always hated the use of frivalous and pointless screens (like screens in the rearmost seats that face the trunk). . . but I have to disagree with you there, swiber.

The rear seats are NOT that small. . . if you think they are, you've never ridden in the back seat of a 4 door BMW 5 series, or a 3 series coupe. . .

If you want small rear seat space, try an RSX or a 2nd gen eclipse. . . or a porsche 911.

I'm a friggin huge guy, 5'10" and 250lbs, and I fit fine in the rear seat. I've even done it on long drives SF->Vegas, and had no problems. The people who can't ride in the back would have to be either 6 footers or the seriously seriously morbidly obese.
