Befor reading this thread, I had never heard of the Vitz. Neat looking little car. Kinda looks like a two-door xA. Given the choice, I'd rather have the xA though. Coupes are a pain.

I am VERY happy with my xA.

One day I might get the Blitz supercharger and I will have more power then I will ever need (compensate for altitude).

Vitz RS, all the way.

I like my car but, it would be lots better -300 pounds like the Vitz.

Although I was pretty sure the Vitz RS and xA share a lot of the same components.

i believe the xA and the Vitz as the same engine.... unless there is a crazy tuned one. hahah

and ya a vitz does look like a 2 door xA, thats why i brought up the topic hehe

xA looks pretty nice, and is one of the only hatchbacks that looks good with four doors. Vitz looks nice but the interior is gross and looks like an Echo interior. Overall I think the xA is better.

my opinion xa has better interior and safety and new style extrior
but for performance vitz is better because of size and weight

they share the same engine 1.5L

vitz, yaris, echo...all the same cars, just in different regions...japan, europe, and US

which is why you say the interior looks gross like an echo's

can be 1.0L turbo, 1.3L, or 1.5L and of course their trd turbo is available cuz the pin outs on the echo are different than the scion...we're like 32 bit and they are like 64 or sum ____.

That hatch won't come out here in the states! They have have it in Canada, and i believe Mexico too! just not released here in US

i'll take a 4wd vitz anyday

I have talked to many people who believe the hatch will be coming to the states in 2005/6 so we'll see whats up.

Actually I believe the Toyota Ist in japan has a AWD model I believe. I think its either a 1.5 or a 1.3 turbo or something like that....
