Default first xd on Maui with TC rims

Well one of my co-workers just got an Xd. the first thing he wanted was a set of 16's so he could use his stock tires... after some talking and telling him that some TC rims would fit the search was on. The next day luck he found a set and that same day he was rollin' on some TC rims. I gotta say it looks pretty good now if only Scion would make it come out of the factory like this then i think they would be rolling of the lot like Shave Ice on a hot day! here's a pic of his car enjoy!

now i just gotta convince him into some TRD springs and a 5 axis lip kit....

Personally I really dislike those tC rims I've seen the new xB rims and those look decent, not sure if they would fit on the xD though. Either way, yay another xD!

Springs would be good but have you actually seen the 5axis kit? It doesn't look that good to me, plus you have to get it painted yourself. Definitely not worth the money.

tC wheels don't look that bad on the xD - I had them for a month or so before getting the 18s, plus they are probably the cheapest 17 you can find and already have a Scion centercap

Oh, and I happen to actually like the 5axis kit :D

The reason I sold the tC wheels was because they will not look right with the 5axis kit - too inset for my taste. 17x7 with 45 offset (tC OEM wheel) looks too tucked in. for a visually wider car - the impression that you get when the lip kit is on.

These are optional 18s from the tC, not "special edition". I think they are also called Enkei EMX 7 or something along these lines. Great looking wheels.

that's true, i would love the kit that Team Koshak's has with some low offset 19's and some nice lip... you almost could pull off a VIP styled Xd. but for me it looks perfect with the 5 axis lip kit, 2.5 drop front and 2.0 inch drop rear with some 19's or 18's would keep me happy for a little while..

Ok I couldn't tell because there is a shine on the black part which made me think of paint instead

Most vinyl is shiny, I had to actually make an effort to find a satin black roll.
