I’m considering doing a self install of my trd springs that I ordered, but I wanted to gather as much info before I try it.
I was wondering if anyone has installation notes for installing lowering springs on the tC.
Some of the things that I’m looking for are torque specs (nuts and bolts), pictures, special tools needed, tips, things to look out for, etc. This kinda sounds like the service manual..lol….anyone have the suspension section of the service manual..
Thanks for the help -

I did the installation myself without ever having done it before. I don't have torque specs but I used air tools and got it 'tight' when I could. Otherwise the socket or wrench works fine.

The fronts are cake. Just remove all the stuff in the way and slide the strut out. Put it on the ground (laying down, not standing up) and pop it apart, slap the spring on and put it back in.

The rears are a bit more work. Remove everything from the trunk and under the floor. Don't worry about the rear plastic, you can get to the strut nuts without removing it, you just need to take your time and squeeze your hand under the plastic. Same as the front otherwise, just get stuff out of the way. You should make note of the position of the strut, since you can't adjust it when it is back together. Get yourself a spring compressor and use it when replacing the spring, both on and off. That is unless you have a air gun and can spin it loose while it is laying on the ground. I did that with my foot on the spring, works good, but if you aren't used to it, don't do it.

Oh and make note of how the assembly goes together so you can put it back together correctly when you replace the spring. Just line everything up, and don't put things upside down and you should be fine.

Anyways, just take your time and it should come out pretty easy. Took me about 4 hours to do.
