Hi I just registered today and a question regarding negetive camber when lowering the Xa. Looking at the scionlife store and through my friend at Greddy I have been only able to find a camber kit for the front.
I was just wondering if anyone lowering their Xa has any negative camber. I currently have a 91 Accord and that car needed a camber kit for the front and back when I lowered it.
So in short Any one know if any company sells a camber kit for both the front and back? Thanks preciate all the resonses. :P

your camber will not be affected when lowering an xA or xB. completely different than a honda.

If the camber is not affected by lowering the car, then the car has terrible suspension geometry.

I can pretty much assure you the camber will change, and become more negative if you lower it. It may not be enough to matter but it will change.

But then, more negative camber is a good thing anyway =)

does the scion XA have camber bolts stock? or is it non adjustable?

I just installed a set of Eibach springs on my Xa. There is a slight amount of tolerance in the mounting holes so there is a little adjustment. With the spindle pushed in the max allowable I was able to get 1 deg negative camber. I would have prefered 1.5 deg negative camber but am happy with what I have. More adjustment would be easy to get by slotting the strut mounting holes a little.

good to know..

if I can get 1 degree negative up front that will be just fine.

I forgot to mention that the lowering causes toe out so definately get it reset at a good shop. I had my toe set at 1/16" in, it works better with the neg. camber. You may have to hunt around for a shop that will set it to other than stock settings due to the liability issues.
