Default Broken Side View Mirror (hit by truck)

I got sideswiped by truck on my way to work today, so my driver's side sideview mirror is in pieces. Luckly the silver cover is in tact and the mirror motor control and flashing light still works. Only the internal mirror housing is cracked up.

Does anyone know the part # for the mirror itself or where i can get a replacement mirror. Any idea how much a replacement housing will cost.

EDIT - I'll put some pics up when I get out of work.

Wow, how did it manage to only shatter the glass and not the housing? Pictures?

Actually I was in the car driving it when I got hit. We were going about 10-15mph in traffic when he sideswiped me. I saw the housing get crushed in, the mirror shattered and the the plastic cover flew off in to the middle of the street.......it's a sound you never want to hear

The housing is still on the car; it was crushed in, then poped out again. It's just cracked in a few places.

Yeah, I just got mine replaced a little while because of an accident involving my garage and my car.

I don't have the part number but everything has to be replaced (mirror wise)

The part costs 191.90 + tax and about $50 in labor, least that is what it cost at my dealership..

It took them about 20 minutes to install it, they come painted!

HEY!!!!

**Forget** labor

that **stuff** is simple. pull off the plastic piece on the inside of the door. its just clipped, so yank. unscrew the 3 10mm bolts. unclip the connector.

put on new, screw, clip, clip.

the end.

and yeh, its $190ish plus tax
