Default 7" headrest monitor install pix

I know it's not perfect, but this was my first attempt at installing headrest monitors. If I could do it over again I would use 5" monitors instead.

I like the sunroof. The headrest install is not quite my taste.

After having overhead monitors in my other cars I decided to stay away from blocking the view out of my rear window. Plus, the moonroof slides back internally which is going to present a problem when installing an overhead monitor.

Thats why the factory headrest monitor option replaces the headrests with larger one's to accommodate the monitors properly. Just a heads up for those that may think of getting the factory monitors. Didn't want others to think that the factory option would turn out looking like yours. I will take a pic of mine. I just picked up my new 08 xB today, and haven't had time to get out my camera.

I noticed the difference in size. However, I would much rather spend $300 for two monitors vs $1200 for the dealer version.

judging by looking at those i do not think they are the DVD ones. they look like just the lcd screens with a dvd player under the seat or connected to the H/U.

been on the phone for two days to get an anser from visuallogic about them making headrests for the 2008 XB. so far no one can answer that. the headrests they make for other cars are very very clean.

eeee, i'm not really digging it bro. like you said, i would've gone with smaller screens, perhaps even 6". oh well, a lesson learned and you saved a ton of money vs having it installed by the dealer. looks like you did the best with what you had, so props to you there. :D

I think they look great! I wanted the factory ones, but didn't wanna add another 1600 to the price. I'm jealous!
