Help with sound! :x
Haha, I searched around, but all the posts are way to complicated for a noob that doesn't know anything about sound! So, I connect wires from the RCA Outputs on the back of my premium deck to an amp, then a sub is wired to that amp? Easy as that, or no?

here's a good website to check out: www.bcae1.com
now....i guess you could say its as easy as that....but theres more to it lol. you're on the right path though.
RCA cables run from the pre-amp outputs on the back of the head unit into your amp. from your amp, you'll use speaker wire to connect the subwoofer to the amp (make sure you have the right resistance on the sub). then, you will need to run a remote wire to your head unit from your amp. this allows the head unit to send a signal to the amp to turn on. you'll need to run a power wire from your amp to your battery, and lastly, you'll need to run a ground wire from your amp to a bolt on the chassis of the car. make sure you fuse your power wire!
for more specific/in-depth info, feel free to PM me or check out that site.
hope this helps!
