Anybody have crappy reception with their radio?

I get very bad reception and only a few stations come in clear. Drive around too much, (10-15min on highway) and I loose the station..

To me, it sounds like I have something wrong, but I have no other xA's to compare too or have leverage with when I try to argue the point with the dealer. I just know I'm going to get, "They're all like that. It's normal." Grrr...

mine gets better reception than my old car -- i would consider my reception to be GREAT.

Have you taken off your antenna ever? I unscrewed mine for the car wash... and i didn't put it back on for a while and the reception sucked. You may want to check that... otherwise, head to the dealer - there's no reason to get crappy reception (unless you are in the middle of nowheree and dont' HAVE any stations to receive!!)...

Good luck.

The best AM radio reception I have encountered in a car radio for twenty to thirty years. I miss fine tuning for weak stations tho. I rarely use FM. Around here FM is mostly religion, country/western and youth stations.

I get the best reception I have ever had, in my xA. I am currently in Annapolis, MD and get stations from my hometown of Philadelphia, PA clearly a lot of the time and a little choppy at others. The two cities are about 125 miles apart and the stations I get are on AM.
