Well, I searched but found nothing relevant. But out of curiosity, will the RS1 lip kit and Tein H.Techs bring the ride height of my tC too low for an everyday driver?
If so, which do you guys think I should go with, springs or lip kit?
Of course the springs are only $185 and the lip kit would be $600-700 painted, if not more... but what ya think?
Thanks in advance everyone!

lol......i have the carbon fiber rs1 lip kit and i'm on s-techs
I have a carbon fiber lip and H-techs...It's an excellent drop and it's pretty good for a daily driver..just have to angle a little on those steep driveways just to be safe.
p.s I have 18's so i don't scrape as much

Whatever springs your comfortable with buy it, buy the Rs-1 lip, paint and prep yourself, install yourself, and get a shop to do the springs for you (Unless you got the time, help, patience, and tools) .
how exactly do you go about gettin a professional looking paintjob on a lip kit if you do it yourself and have no paint guns or a booth or any of that?

It's not so bad, try to find an enclosed area where dust and ish doesn't blow in. Wet sand the lip, primer, put a feel coats, than clear coat, and viola its done. The thing for me is, I can careless about the paint job on the lip, I have s-techs and a RS-1 lip, even though I can maneuver through speed bumps and steep areas, at one point its bound to get scratch.
Another alternative is to wetsand, primer and just bring it to a shop.
I also had to choose between S or H techs. My first feelings were not to drop that low and just get H, but than my GF surprised me with s-techs so muaha no decision making for me!

I was gonna get the RS1 with my H-Techs, but I already scrape my front in some places, even when I angle it. I think it just depends on the roads/driveways you drive on...
Haha, it's gonna be a lil while... I'm currently trying to get Pioneer to step me up to an 800PRS for falsely advertising the features on my 6900UB, so that'll cost me a good $200 probably. But over the summer, I'm hoping to drop it on H.Techs, get front and rear sways installed, try to do the RS1 lip kit (preferably color matched), and if I have the money, I might pick up 18" 5ZR's all around :D
I'm low on cash at the moment from just putting $1000 into my system, but I'll rebound and keep modding! Thanks for all the replies guys! I almost forgot about this thread lol... Thought it looked familiar when I came across it.
@SengtC, that paintjob does look damn good for $50! But I'd never be able to roll on color matched BCP paint... Now what do you think if I did the entire lip (all around) in just gloss black on my Black Cherry Pearl? I wouldn't mind that :eyebrow:

That'd probably look nice, I once saw a white xB with gold side skirts and rear and front lip and it was clean. I have a FM with a black lip and i like it

well i'm on s-techs and the rs1 lip. my s-techs are sagging and my lip scratches once in awhile you just have to angle.. and it's my DD, now i just got to worry about intercooler scraping..

just for comparison since we're talking about lip kits and springs... just dont go stechs with the jp kit... too low!
Please more pictures. Ive been having this lip kit for over 8months now and this weekend it will be painted and instaled. So yeah if possible may i see more angles.
