Looks like they (Honda) are either copying the Daihatsu Tanto & the Toyota concept NSLV. I wouldn't be surprised if Honda sources from Daihatsu to import the FIT. The Mira looks very similar to it!

Do a Wiki on Daihatsu & you will see what I mean!

The Toyota NSLV is shown in the Toyota Concept area of their website.

Maybe everyone already knows this BUT from appearances it looks like the xB, xA, & xD are siblings of the Daihatsu line. (Toyota owns majority interest in them & Hino too!)

 

Looks like the Honda xB2 anime edition.

 

Not my taste aesthetically, but packed with technology it seems.
