Default A Funny thing happened

We'll boys and girls It pains me to say this but on the way home from a meet at Dave & Busters in Cincinnati Oh I was curzing on Houston Rd in Florence Ky when a Mitsu 3000 GT pulls up next to me and blows his horn then revs his engine, and gets on it a little bit then slows back down to my speed which was about 35 mph.

He blows the horn again revs his engine I looked over but his tint was as dark as mine so I really couldn't see who was driving he blew the horn again so I told the better half Why Not. I put the peddle to the metal the turbo spooled I got about 12 pounds of boost and it was on (NOT) The guy couldn't catch me I ran up to about 70 mph or so before I got to the traffic light. I saw the guy get into the right lane and turn on a side street so I followed him thinking it was one of the guys I hang out with in the K-Mart parking lot.

He turned into the pizza hut and parked I pulled up behind him but didn't know who it was. He walked over to the box and asked what I had in it, and I told him not much of anything LOL, He said that I had it all lit up with guages and stuff and that he thought I might have had something in it. He mentioned that he wish he had the twin turbo version of the 3000 GT and that he had an Auto( Seemed to be excuse making to me).

I told him that I had an Auto also and that a lot of people were surprised that anyone could get an Greddy Turbo to work with an Auto you should have seen the look on his face it was PRICELESS. I should have told him it was all stock except for the gauges and underbody and interior lighting. I wonder if he would have had a new respect for a box the next time he pulled up next to one. ROTFLMAO

A couple pics of my xB

Nice... have you taken it to the strip for times? I imagine if you could beat that car you should be good for sub-6 second 0-60, not bad

No I haven't and probably won't but I will have it dynoed as soon as the engine is broken in good, I have about 1200 miles on the new engine, I had a full engine build, Carrillo Rods. CP Pistons 9.5 to1, Heads ported and polished, From what I'm told Engine Balanced and Blueprinted. My performance guy says he'll do a vid of the dyno as well as give me the spec sheet.

Now if only I could drop mine that low, that would be nice but the lousy roads in Chicago won't allow it...

Thanks, I dare not ride around the streets in the Cincinnati area that low. Unfortunately I'm limited to dropping it in my drive way The roads here arn't that bad. Maybe I'll run into you next year we normally spend a week or so in Wheaton Take care and Happy Holidays to you and the Family
