Default Auto Trans Delay after Car Sits for awhile

My Xb is sometimes not driven for a week or so. When I start it up and put the transmission in reverse the car sits there for awhile without moving. It seems like the transmission fluid needs to get moving through the system before the car will move. Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal?

Thanks,
John

You should check the level of the trans fluid after the trans has warmed up. If it's OK, then you should let it warm up a bit before you start to drive it... :D
If all is still OK, make an appointment for the dealership!
