That almost sort of kinda looks like a Kaminari Aero Race kit.
It's not though.

that first link is the factory ground effects. and apparently its the only combo that i've actually liked so far. these sema kits are really ugly and would never dream of sporting it on my tc.
im disappointed in sema this year. not very many quality products i can see buying.

i agree with most... not many attractive bodykits out there for the tC. lot of lookers...but nothing that is worthy of buying.
i'm hoping TRF will be releasing a nice clean lip kit for the tC ... as rumor has it.
It will be something similar to factory type lip kit...but abit more stylish and not too ricey. look out ~

 who would do this to a car?
it looks as bad as the LJ Garcia xA. they butchered that tC.
So far the Kaminari is my fav for aftermarket body kits.

im a big fan of the wide body kits and really like the orange and silver tC
look at it like this, if we all liked are cars the same way it would be very boring, i want my tC to look good fer me, but also to look different than every other tC as for "ricey" what exactly do you mean by that,
i love this car stock otherwise i wouldnt have bought it but now that there are a couple more on the road i want to distinguish myself from the rest,
all i need is money!
or a sponsor?

Who said the facotyr lip kit was rice?
Anyway, I'm LOVING Sema this year. I guess that's why there was such a long wait for tCs...they were all bought up to display at Sema!
I' totally diggin all the widebody kits. That's one of the main reasons I like the tC: It's very clean and elegent on it's own, but it is also like a blank canvas for aftermarket kits. It appeals to both the clean stock crowd and the ultra aftermarket crowd. You can't go wrong!
So far, I think I like this one the best:

Um, neither one of those pics of the Supra or the NSX had a widebody kit on them. Those looked like little lip kits.
And the tC looks SUWEET!
The red one, not the one on the bottom. I dont' like that one.

look at the rear picture of the supra again and look at the license plate area. also, if you look at the stock green you'll see the black trim below at the rear quater panel. look at the silver front side quarter panel and you'll see side vents that the green one doesn't have.

nsx body kits are very subtle. sometimes you have to look closely to realize there's one on it. that's why i said on certain cars wide body kits are okay, but not on the tC.

Rich:
Yeah, I noticed those the first time, and you can get the scoops without a wide body kit. I still dont' think either of those are wide body kits, maybe some some suble flares if anything.
But I understand what your trying to say. Maybe it's not that you dont' like the tC with a wide body kit, but rather that you dont' like those particular kits. Maybe you would liek the tC with some suble fender and skirt flares liek on the supra and nsx?
Me, I would put a widebody kit on my wifes minivan if they made one! I love em!

personally i think nsx are ugly in the first place.
(i would love to drive one , i just wouldnt look at it!)
supras look good no matter what you do with them, they would probably even look good with some deez wires! lol
i disagree with you about the tC though, i think the widebody looks great in both styles, but i think i would wait until a few more styles come out to get one,
in a few more months different companies will bring more subtle ones with different lines and you might be surprised , you might even like one
maybe theyll do a widebody for an xB, if there isnt one yet

owner of the supra did say that he had a custom wide body kit done by 20/20.
I have come across very few genuine TRD Widebody Supras with big turbo packages like this one. Painted in Skyline Silver by the famous Widebody specialist 20/20 out of Los Angeles, this genuine kit and paint alone were $19,000. The quality of the install is outstanding and there will be no disappointments with this car. Former magazine cover car.
yes, a subtle body kit would look best on the tC. to me the widebodys don't enhance the clean lines of the tC.
i think the tC looks better with a clean lip kit. you never see G35C or 3 series coupes with widebody kits

Yeah, but the tC compares better to a Civic or Eclipse, and you see widebodies on them all the time. You can't compare the tC to a G35 coupe or a 3Series BMW.

The Silver one is the TRD 3000gt wide body (I think that is one of Ryan Woon's old cars). The green one is stock bodied.

Maybe the pictures just arent' doing justice, cause I dont' see much of a difference. Then again, I guess that's kinda the point, sublty, eh?
In my opinion, if I'm gonna spend the money on a kit, I want everyone to know it's not stock!

when I saw that pic of the red top, grey bottom wide-body kit on the tC my reaction was....
Wide body kits just do not look good on a tC... unless it's subtle it's just ugly.
I'm waiting on a body kit for a while, until I find one that really, really looks good - the only one I've seen that looks pretty good (a wee bit too agressive <--- understatement) is the Kaminari body kit
this one's not bad http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33304
I definately don't like the vinyls "leading" to the scoop on the rear wheels, or the scoop behind the front fenders..... or the harsh-two-tone, maybe silver streak with flint mica kit? or white with black kit? the front looks really nice, would be perfect for an intercooler - check out lots of other SEMA pics on www.tctunerz.com

was gonna edit my post, but I waited too long, I did a crappy quick photoshop of the wide-body kit on that Fugly orange thing, and this is what I came up with....
gonna post this in a new topic too, just wanted anyone who reads this to see it too because it pertains to this thread.

yes, in terms of price but not in the design dept.
the 3 series and G35C has a cleaner more european look which the tC has. the tC looks better with a clean non-ricey look.

Wondering if anyone knows what body kit is on the following picture:
http://www.scionlife.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1225
I'm guessing it could simply be the ground effects kit but damn, the car looks so clean. I would want my car to look like that to ride around in.
Also, anyone know who the rims might be from?
Or there's a page with all the info, that'd be appreciated.
Observation: I think all the tC's at Sema don't have their windows tinted.
the kit is oem and the rims are motegi. not sure which model
