Default Painting some dash trim pieces

I am planning on painting my speedo trim piece silver metalic next week, but now i am wondering if i should paint also the drivers and pasengers main vents too...i just think it would look a bit off having the speedo bezel in silver matching the waterfall, and having the vents in black right next to each other, but again i dont want to overdue it and make it look real tacky. so i would greatly appreciate some feedback and pics if your one who has painted them, or left the vents black. thanks

If you painted the gauges, and the door handles it would look good.

If you run across any problems I can always do it for you. Pm me if you want samples of my work.

It is hard to find the silver they used for the waterfall.......it is two differant silversI do not remeber which one matched the armrest handle.........if you do the gauges you may wnat to redo the handle and waterfall so they are all one color.........

I do not think doing the vents will look good.......it gets gaudy...........perhaps buy a set at Toyota and paint them and see how they look and if they do not work you can still put your stock ones back in.......they pull out with a tug.

How are you guys painting these center consoles? Do you actually remove the trim from the console or do you just tape it off? I know the handles would be easy to do, but the center console trim not so much

Also, do you guys paint the WHOLE handle, front and back? OR just the trim piece that you can easily pop off? And wherrrre did you get all that cool Carbon Fiver VIP tc?

well i am not worried about matching the waterfall and armrest, because heres a link on here of a few who did it themselves, i in the other hand am going to have it done professionally by a local shop called Kingpin, as for the air vents i am going to hold off on that, but the gauges is for sure..heres pics of one that was done

you take the peice near your shifter and ebrake, you take that off first...... then take of the center console, and tape off what you dont want painted..and there you go
