It should have an iPod cable.
Look in the glove box.
If not, go back to the dealer and get it.

The cable COMES WITH THE KIT.
If he paid for the kit, he gets the cable too.

If you can't get it from the dealer for free or off another member cheap, try this link here:

I have them for just under $57.00, but yes they do retail for $78.97 at the dealerships.

He doesn't need to buy anything - he PAID for the iPod hookup, he should get the cable as part of the deal.

I agree, you get the radio and the cable is supposed to be in the glove box. But trying to get the dealership to follow through with it is another thing.

I just got the awesome new ipod nano. I have the 07 tC with the aux port. I just bought the cheap little cable that allows me to play music using the ipod to control it. That is fine with me but I wish it could charge at the same time.

Yeah, you and two other guys...
Enjoy, but keep the iPod flames to yourself.
If you can't afford an iPod, then enjoy your Zen and lay off those if us that have/use iPods.

The iPod cable keeps it charged.
The mini/aux cable does not.

I doubt it.
But I don't think it would hurt to try.
I have an iPod Touch and it works fine - as do many other iPods.

who said i can't afford it ? just cause i don't like them doesn't mean i can't afford it. i don't have that much of a problem with ipod, it's just i'ld rather have the option to use what ever software to upload my music instead of having to use itunes and their format
