Hey maybe you guys can help me out here.

The other day I was walking to my TC after class and saw some guy oogling at my car and looking in the windows and stuff. When I came up he asked if it was my car. I said yes. Then he goes, "Wow that's so hot when a chick knows how to drive a stick shift." I was like, "um... thanks?"

So now I've been wondering what's the big deal about a girl who isn't lazy enough to drive an automatic and knows a bit about how cars work?

 

well its like a turn on for us...it tells us she knows how to handle it. And also means you are really into cars....It could also say alot about a person, like you might be out going, a great personality, and even a person who loves excitement!!!

 

I guess his reaction is more like a comment.
To me, honestly, it's more...attractive? What else can you ask for from a girl driving a nice car, and actually knowing how to drive it, (stick wise)? :D

My shaft is kinda short so its more short strokes or throws when a girl drives my stick shift.... Damn TWM short shift....

I think that when a girl drives a stick, to me it means that they are really "into" their car.

Then there's that sensual thing too, knowing that they can work the magic stick

 

I don't know if it's sexy so much as it's nice when someone is interested in the things you like. I think girls into computers are cool. Or rather, I think that's a cool aspect, because I'm also into computers. In comparison, a girl being into sports isn't a big thing to me at all, as I could care less about sports. Obviously the guy found cars to be at least somewhat his thing, so it would make sense for him to like that you were interested enough in the same thing to choose to drive a manual.

Of course, it may just be the whole "tomboy" thing. Alot of guys are into that I've noticed.
