okay so i wake up out of no where and my car alarm and pager start ringing like crazy(12AM in the morning). got up and went outside to see whats wrong and saw my sisters and brother just staring at my car. i walk closer and see that this lady in a big @$$ truck just hit my car. so i got a broken headlight in pieces, fender, bumper, hood, alignment, and possibility my rim got damaged (all this is on the driver side). i will get pix when i get back from work later on the day. so what should i do, go with insurance or go with what she has in plan which is go to her friends bodyshop? called her up after and told her that the damages are pretty high plus i would need a rental. suggestions?

she is saying that she knows my neighbor since i knew and hung around her house for years. but i havent seen her around. i'm just going to play it the safe way and go with insurance. i dont want her friends doing mickey mouse work on my car. update too.. she also cracked my HID bulb. so basically my whole headlight is out. makes me sad since i had my car fixed 2 months ago when an idiot backed up into my car just like her.

yeah i'd def. go through the insurance.
I had a lady back into my car, she murdered the whole right side of my car, knocking the mirror off and scraping the paint from the front to the back..i dont think she was a legal citizen, so they used her friends insurance or something, i dont care, it got paid for and fixed...def. get it through the insurance though! I now park my baby in the garage, not going through that hell again! haha you should look at doing the same! The 2nd time?!?! crazy bad luck. =(

Always get a police report and always go through insurance. You pay those crooks for a reason, might as well get something out of em.

 

please tell me that you made a police report. And never go to "my guy" only through what the insurance company recommends or if you know somebody and let the insurances take care of it...and get a nice rental...G35?

 

i didnt get a police report but i got all her information. already told her i dont want to go through her guy because i want it to be done the right way. my insurance knows and is filing a claim against her insurance. i just hope its done soon. this killed my plans for next week going to san fran q=[
