What Shorter shock is everyone going with in the rear of the xB after you do bags ???

5870 is what you want for th Monroe shocks.

I don't know if it's my ears playing tricks on me, but it seems like my rear setup bottoms out on the struts before the bags (bumpstops) first.. I'm using the Monroe Sensatrac 5870's. Is there another alternative that other people use in the rear to get sufficient stroke while aired out?

I'm running SS RE-6 bags with FBI brackets if that matters.

I went with monroe #37243
I did an azz load of research and found these to work the best
They are shorter so at full lift they stop the baggs so the rear is almost dead even with the front

and at full drop you have about another 1" to go.

oh and I went with the SS re5's and Randode brackets

So with stock steelies and stock body kit my rear bumper is 3.75"s off the ground ( might have settled a little by now)

The RE-6's and FBI brackets work great. Lifts really high and slams low.

I will look more into the 37243's. Looks like you did do you research, from a Sienna Van with lower height compression, little lower extension, and an efficient amount of stroke. Thanks again for your help!

The 37243's for the sienna van have a little different mounting hardware but can be done and in a safe and easy way.

Its just half Xb and half set up that comes with the shock.

I took some pics of what I took apart to mount them if any are interested

yeah, I would actually like to see them too, I just ordered them from Checkers.. haha.

nm, I just got to installing them.. Same install as the 5870's but it sure went a tad bit lower. Thanks again BurxBox!

So I lied I only have pics of how the stock ones come apart not what I used from them to mount Sorry guys.

But it was just trial and error on the install.

does it matter what year Sienna Van these are from?

what about the KYB brand shocks for the same vehicle? anyone use them?

I had to absolutely nothing to them straight bolt in.
