stick_1NZ 01-04-2008, 02:42 AM How does it sound??? Did you remove your cat???
CIONIDE 01-04-2008, 04:39 AM That can looks HUGE! How much ground clearance is there?
Is your xB dropped? and if so, how much?
Velocitysport31 01-04-2008, 06:04 AM Actually there is plenty of clearance, i will be dropping my car tomorow, so well see what happens, the tip of the muffler is offset so must of the muffler is hidden. The sound is very mellow not ricey. i have a few other muffler options available too.
broken_20_2 01-04-2008, 11:27 AM So, I take it you removed the resonator? I was going to go to a local shop tomorrow to see if they could whip me up something custom. I like that look. I might have to buy a can and have my local shop make the piping. Looks great!
Velocitysport31 01-04-2008, 03:07 PM I havent removed the midpipe we ran out of time, i was going to try a few differnt smaller resonators until i like the sound but as far as the rear section, i have enough to make 8 kits with mouning hardware for around 250 picked up wich is cheep because greddy charged 400 for theres for the first gen xb. Im also looking in to getting the kits mandrel bent wich might make it go up a little in price.

Nice, man i would love to pick up one. Are you in so cal? Also, hows the install, and let us know on the clearence. I got df210's on mine and my baby is pretty damn low, and im in the process of gettin either 18's, i just dont want to scrape like crazy. which i am kinda already!
itsyounotme 01-04-2008, 09:58 PM Not to offend but with it pointed out all crooked looks stupid to me. Even if it sounds good it doesnt look right at all..it looks RICEY. Straight out looks better to me but I wouldnt use a can style either cause those just look RICEY to me. To each his own tho...good luck.
Velocitysport31 01-04-2008, 10:46 PM Thanks for your input...ive had some people like it and some dont, i have other muffler options im working on as well wich are smaller. this was just the first mock up, and if you read my origional post, i also stated that i can make them straight or turned out as well, it all depending on what the buyer wants. Im also working on a mid pipe to replace the huge resonator.
Can you make a sound clip of this exhaust?
Velocitysport31 01-17-2008, 02:44 AM ill try to have it up soon...its very mellow close to stock as far as sound.
cincinfocal 01-17-2008, 01:32 PM subscribed :D
Velocitysport31 01-28-2008, 03:02 PM need to get rid of these muffers, 120.00 plus shipping or you can pick up in covina, there extremely nice, retail for over 300 just for the muffler, the tip is offset so most of the muffler fits behind the bumper. (these are just the muffler if you local i have a shop that can fit them for 80.00, wich includes flanges, gaskets and hangers.)

Nzaw4 01-30-2008, 05:04 PM Nice vid clip, but is it me, or does it look like a different exhaust in the video? The one in the pics look really shinny and clean. Where as in the video it doesnt even look like the same shape of the greddy tip or the can/muffler. my be im trippen
Velocitysport31 01-31-2008, 03:18 AM yeah its the same muffler, my car is just dirty from all the rain.

Thanks Velocity!
CIONIDE 02-09-2008, 11:07 PM That can sure looks low to me...
Nzaw4 02-09-2008, 11:16 PM That can sure looks low to me...
yea, i got df210s on mine and its acutally pretty low.
I just put about 70 miles on it just now. Ive always had clearance issues with these crazy driveways. But out of the 10 or so curb/driveways i only managed to "ting" it once.
i can always get it readjusted, hopefully with some 18's and some nice thick rubber itll still clear :nails:
CIONIDE 02-09-2008, 11:33 PM Even if you go to 18's it will be tough to get more clearance b/w the can and the road, because with DF springs you won't be able to go with an overall tire/wheel diameter much larger than stock or you're likely to have tire to fender rubbing issues, in addition to the can scraping issues.
DREWxB08 02-11-2008, 05:17 PM I love the way it sounds and looks i like the slant look. Do you have any more?? I think i saw them on ebay but forgot to put it on my watch list. Is there any way to have it set up like yours already done so all i gotta do is bolt it on??
Velocitysport31 02-24-2008, 04:02 PM I have 5 left,
Velocitysport31 04-06-2008, 08:42 PM 5 Left 75.00 dollars each pick up in socal

cincinfocal 04-19-2008, 06:45 PM looks kinda small in comparison to the car...i think i have come to the conclusion that for the xB2 it either has to be an oval can or just a tip...round muffles dont seem to flow to well imo...but i dont have either yet :p so im still jealous :D i want an exhaust!!! :D
willow 04-19-2008, 06:49 PM well once i drop it... it wont be that noticeable.. .
cincinfocal 04-19-2008, 06:56 PM and ill still be jealous :p
