I have had PIAA GTX bulbs in the last 3 vehicles being an 04' Corolla, 06' Rav4 and a 07' Tacoma (all standard halogen housings). I love the slight purple tint to the output and reliability has always been good.

I'm a little unsure of the GTX bulbs in the projector housing. Do they maintain the purple tint (similar HID appearance?).

I'm sure they would, but instead of paying so much for PIAA's, get real HID's

 

yeah get HID's. i have a 6000k kit on my 08 and the cut off is great! i havent gotten flashed once. you wont be dissapointed.
