Default Well im stupid

So i am at my house and decide to go wash my car. Right so like the lines are really long so i decied to go thourhg the automatic one..... I never ever go through them because i know they can scarth the ____ out of your car. Well i was on the phone the whole time and was not even thinking about that. Drove through it and go home and bothsides have nice scratches down the driver and passenger side doors in the middle. Not sure what i am gonna do about it or what can be done....any input?

Lesson learned here thats for sure.

Not being sarcastic but why didn't you just wash it at your house. Wouldn't that have made more sense?

Thats why u dont use car washes. A bucket of soapy water is the only way.

How can you wash a car in 20 minutes? I always take 3 hours minimum.

btw i always use a car wash before i actually take my car home to wash it. i go to those where you use a spray gun and just spray it off. i think it helps get the grit and most of the dirt off before you take it home and start scrubbing on it to get it CLEAN clean.

ive ran my car though about 3 differant automatic washes about 50 times and never had a problem.

When i first got my car I washed it at home but my job doesnt give me enough time for that anymore.

Sadly im eating lunch when I run my car though the auto wash.

The ones around here do a very good job.

They dont get the wheels sparkling but I understand

yeah there is a touchless car wash by my house that i've used a few times. it's like $8 but they do an amazing job and never put a scratch on it. plus i don't always feel like washing in sub-freezing temps.

Nope, not a single one. It's touchless, so it has sprayers that soap up the car and and rinse it off. Then an oversized blow dryer at the end to dry it. Nothing actually touches the car.

touchless eh?? i live in portland. where is it at if you don't mind telling me. cuz the last time i spent $10 for a carwash, my rear and front bumper was still dirty, but everything else was clean. i was kinda mad and thought about going back in. usually i would love to wash my car at home, but it's winter and it's raining so i figure i invest $30 into my car for the next 3 months of winter.

might as well do hand car washes...the ones that do detailing to insure that they use the right stuff like microfiber everything.

there are some locally that have brushes and those are the ones you dont wanna drive thoguh.

The ones im talking about just shoot out the water and the wax.

No brushes or anything that touches the car.

No swirl marks or nothing.
