I noticed that this site has a center armrest for the Japanese "ist" available for import sale. I'd REALLY like to get a center armrest for my xA, but I want to make sure it's going to fit first.
Anybody know for sure? I know they're basically the exact same car, but we all know that there are some small differences...
Will it work with the 5-sp xA???

Yeah, I saw that... but:
1) they don't say that what they're working on will work with the xA. They also don't indicate what the price will be...
2) I'd prefer an actual Toyota/Scion part

we the ist is a right hand drive so if it did work it would be on the wrong seat

xA's don't have the armrest on the seat.... Different seats than the xB I believe...

Yes, the arm rest for iST works for xA. I installed it by myself and it looks fine. My only comment is that it doesn't really work as "arm rest". It is too low. I does provide a good storage space for additional CDs. If you want to see a pic, let me know at smilygo@yahoo.com. I will send you a pic.

I wonder there is any aftermarket armrest that have function of freeze storage to store cold drinks, or hot oven to cook stuff or not? :)

someone here sells the jdm armrest from the ist and it is supposed to work for the xA.
