Default Cup Holder Illumination Problem

A buddy and I installed mine today, and now that I am able to see it, I have noticed two problems.

1) The colors do not blend properly (White and Amber especially)

2) The colors that blend fairly well have a ring of a different color around them (violet and blue/green)

Does anyone else have these problems, or did I somehow get a faulty LED harness?

There are 3 LEDS inside the cup holder illumination, Blue, Green, & Red. They blend these colors to produce the other colors that come out of the harness. If I'm wrong, don't slam me, I can only see so much inside that small little harness.

I decided to save some money and install some LEDs in my cupholders myself. I used purple Street Glow LEDs and they work just fine. Sorry I can't help you out with the stock cupholder lights. I honestly didn't have much use for a multicolor option.
