They keep the engine from rocking the proper way, not the "torque dampner" bandaid way. There is actually a polyeurethatne bushing on the inside of that pice...stock ones are metal and rubber. I have the speed source ones (woulda got these if availalble sooner) and they make a DRAMATIC improvment.

Feel free to answer in am PM, but how difficult was the install for these mounts? Do I need something to support my motor, or can it be done right in the bay with like a jackstand on the tranny?
Thanks in advance!
Do you have the rear too?
How much?
When are they available?
If available now can I get them by this weekend?

The sides are tough and require some new brackets. This might prove cost prohibitive. Time will tell
2- I havent decided yet, but less than $100.00
3-I am in the midst of my second run of 50, I am on a list for maching time. No end date as of today
4- I wish...I wasn't going to post until I had them on the shelf, but JAX's post was too good to pass up.

buck:
the front is CAKE! In fact, I only jacked up ONE side of my car, slid under, theres like 2 bolts. You dont' have to brace the motor cause they are supported byt he 2 side mounts...the front and back are mainly for absorbing the rocking, so there is no pressure on the front when not in motion....took me maybe 45 minutes if that...
Havent' done the back yet, and some people say it's a PITA but aen said he pulled his out with little issue.

When can I order a red set?
As soon as I have them done, I will have some anodized and will post...then you can order it.

wow! very nice peice.
can you do the whole peice without any of the rubber bushing inside? what i mean is, instead of a big hole in the middle... how about making it just the size of the bolt that goes through it? u know what i mean?
