Default Tc Quick shifter/short throw reccomendations?

Anyone know of a good reliable brand to get a quick shift/short throw shifter from for my Tc? Someone told me to be weary of TWM and they are the only one's I've seen.

Any reccomendations? Or does TRD have anything coming out soon? I didn't see anything on their website, but they don't have a lot of things listed, that I know are out.

Any info is apppreciated

What's wrong with the TWM Performance short shifter? I have one on my xA and it's great! The install isn't the easiest, but it's a nice upgrade. You reused your stock shifter assembly, though...

ive got the twm short shifter for the tc and it kicks ___. easy install too. obviously it makes the shifts shorter but it also makes the shifts feel more solid. i cant describe it so im going to say it feels notchier. i didnt get the optional shift **** that u can buy with it and just used the OBX one i got with the car. the length is shorter so there is less leverage so it takes more effort to shift, i got used to it the day i got it. its my favorite mod so far. hope this helps

Yeah, I agree, I have the TWM shifter, and love it. The install isnt bad at all, I did it in a half hour.

TWM short shift was the first short shift I installed.

TOOLS NEEDED: (Tools i used)
Hammer
Big Flat Head Screw Driver
Small Flat Head Screw Driver
Socket SET
Dremel
And Grease

Install was pretty simple intructions are perfect take you every step of the way. Hardest part is getting the clip off. 2 mins with a dremel and that baby is off!

I also have the TWM shifter. I just installed it this weekend with minimal tools. I have to agree, the instructions where easy to follow, and removing the washer like clip was definitely the hardest part. If you can cut it off, definitely do so.... I did'nt have anything to cut it with so i scuffed the plastic a little, but it's all good.
This is my first short shifter, so i can't really comment on the quality, but overall i'm satisfied with the finished product.

Apparently TRD is supposed to be coming out with one in a couple months or probably around the first of the year. Honestly.... I would go ahead and get the TWM now. I've got it and it's wonderful! It really is easy to install even for a girl (me hahah) cuz it comes with step by step picture instructions. I'm not so sure i'd get the shift **** that they offer. I bought an OBX speed star mesh one that looks much nicer IMO.
