OK, so im planning on buying an xB soon, and my parents are more than happy i chose that car - my mom loves it, and my dad loves the MPG - but now this tC has arrived and... well im not sure what to do.
I get my license in under 5 months and I would wait an extra month for the tC but the xB is so cool as well. I know they are 2 different cars, but i want 2 things:
1. air bags (as in the suspension)
2. a sub enclosure
The xB has me covered wit the air ride (seen multiple setups!) - but the xB LACKS in rear trunk space. I havent driven any but until then - im stuck. Any insight or personal opinions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Did you want a small sub enclosure..SPFR has one that replaces the side box next to the spare that holds one 12" sub and looks great. You can get it in different colors or in carbon fiber. Or do you want to take up the whole trunk like mine?

something more like yours.... i want an asphalt shakin system...and ive been inside of an xB and it looks too small - the boxes for my subs (JL Audio W7 10") need to be huge. Thats y i was thinking the tC, plus the tC is faster and nicer...

depends if you're making payemtns or not. Just do what makes you happy.

true - but the tC sounds better - on paper that is. keep posting personal opinions EXCEPT about price - because we have no clue what its going to cost.

If you want an airbagged, block shakin, alarm triggering cruiser--no doubt about it, take the xB. The xB is the perfect car to have a killer sound system in, as well as a crazy air ride setup...it just "looks" like the right car for that kinda stuff for some reason.

If you want a sport coupe, that's a more refined vehicle...wait for the tC.

I say wait anyway, until you see them in person.

for everything you want in a car, the xB will be better.

When you have air ride and sobwoofers setup in your trunk, how do you get to the spare tire?!

So what do you do when you get a flat? No offense to anyone, I don't want to start a flame war, but I want transportation.

Hey bro how old are you? I ask because if your are younger then 25 and already have high insurance costs the Xb might be better for you cost wise... ins companies consider it a wagon while the Tc is a coupe and usely coupes have higher ins costs... don't know if that helps but something you might want to consider... me I'm going with the Tc

I'll give you one fact to make your decision with.

1. Your air-riding xB will get more girls to ride with you in your car.

This should end your decision making right here.

I'm sure you'll make the right choice.

What do air rides have to do with girls? :?

you don't...no spare

Roadside assitance!!

I use the service that comes with my insurance, GEICO.

But I say because our young, go xB, you'll get into less trouble, plus you can carry 4 of your friends.

xB may have limited trunkspace but that all changes when you let the seats down. I practically didn't have to go rent a U-Haul truck when I helped my gf move out of her apartment. In the long run, the xB is the way to go. The tC will get lost in the sea of sport compact coupes

<<hugs his dependable and capable xB>>

this is true. But i sugest that you talk to some people with air ride, and maybe ride in a few cars on 'bags first. Its not all its cracked up to be. I mean sure its fun to hit switches, but if its your daily driver it will get old, FAST! Also, no matter how clean your airbag setup is, eventually you will have to replace a bag, valve, or an air line. Is this something that you can do yourself? What if you are stranded on the side of the road? Im only you telling you this since I have been down that road and swore that I would never 'bag another car again. Here is what I had.
