Intake, Header, Exhaust will probably net you 15-20 hp at most. And a pulley will only free up lost hp. Honda Accord sedan EX - V6 3.0L (244 hp) 5A + ABS 7.80 15.88. You should have beaten him if not stayed closer then 2.5 car lengths. But with those mods your buying you should have no problem pulling on him... Is it standard or auto... Buying mods for autos are useless in my eyes lol..

Pullies (or even a lightweight flywheel, which actually has a noticeable effect) will free up ZERO power, period. Against all laws of physics and the way a car produces power. They make the engine rev and shed rpm faster, but do nothing to increase static rpm power, which is the only true measure of power.

Honda accord v6 is 244 hp? Bolting on i/h/e isnt going to bridge an 80 hp gap. Maybe if that guy is taking the family out for sunday breakfast. It's not going to happen. I don't know the full specs of a v6 accord, but from a horsepower standpoint, you no gonna win.

lol geeezzz calm down guys, Hey im still young and stupid, i used to street race, and i still might if i meet a guy, but it has to be at a special place i know in milpitas, that is perfect. Theres a different feeling when you street race, that nice feeling when you do stupid things when you're young. lol And hey my friend has a 04 accord v6 coupe. Those things r pretty fast.. dont think you can take him with those bolt-ons.

I never minded as much for the people that raced on purely abandoned roads like those nice, long dead end stretches through industrial parks at night. Problem is "street racing" is typically done these days by moronic little kids who will do it anywhere they come across someone that will rev back at them. No talent and no brains = dead bystanders.

But again, 99% of these threads amount to nothing more than paper racing.

i'm curious to know at what age you won't consider yourself "young and stupid". that's the worst excuse i've ever heard. i don't care how old someone is, street racing is stupid.

Yeah, seriously...wtf?? Is that any kind of justification for doing something dangerous to yourself and others? I'm young and stupid and aware of it, yet I happily choose not to overcome my mental shortcomings. I can't be held accountable for what I do!

Give me a break.

btw your myspace says you're 17...why you gotta come on here and pretend you're 21? but yeah you are young but that's no excuse to be stupid.

Lol I'm not pretending im 21, I dint even know i made my scionlife account as I'm 21. Yes i am 17 but that doesnt mean im young, Since we are on the internet, please dont judge me because you dont know me. I could be young, but that doesnt mean you are smarter then me. And I am always accountable for my actions, get into fights, i admit, i get locked up. Street racing was stupid, but it was fun, having that mentality "i might die any day mightaswell have fun". And thank you engifineer, racing on secluded roads with no houses or people whatsoever is much better then street racing. The main point of that was just me saying chill out, cuz i hate it when some1 needs help, but you guys just bash on him.

wow sum people on here are kinda dumb. v6 accords are fast!! period. dont know why but they are. My friend has a v6 accord with intake and its an auto and im spraying a 75 shot and i barely pull him from a 40 roll. Street racing is fun, i dont care.

Dont get me too wrong though, racing on public roads is DUMB, even if it is out on the highway. By secluded, I knew of places growing up with one way in, one way out, no one living there or out there at night with a nice flat road to run. So it was possible to pretty much close those roads off simply by parking at one end. Those areas are few and far between. These kiddies racing down public highways just because they dont see a car coming are morons. And the ones racing in town are the dumbest of all. I dont care about legality, the law has nothing to do with right or wrong to start with. I just care about the other people around me. If someone hits, or comes close to hitting me while trying to street race... especially if my family is with me, they will be lucky not to see the wrong end of a firearm for thier efforts. I am no speed limit nazi to say the least, but I dont race on the street and dont put up with people putting me in danger.

And honestly, when it comes to driving, 17 IS young. no way around it. I thought I was the s#it at that age too cause I learned to drive in the dirt when I could reach the pedals and was a pretty good driver for my age. At 31, I know now how much of a kid I was at that age when it came to driving experience. 99% of driving is seat time.

And as far as help, this guy is paper racing. Go out and race the guy (safely of course) and find out if you are going to win or not. No point in creating more threads to ask what car will beat the other. IF they are even moderately close it is mostly driver anyway.

Yeah like i said my cuzn has one, got it for 25 gran. The car feels so nice, leather feels good, When i drove it, it dint seem as jerky. If only it had more market, then maybe that car would be a prospect. Yet , i still think the S2K owns!! lol
