i want to know which lowering springs to get with STOCK 17's [215-45-17] that will lower my car at a good look and height without ANY rubbing or issues with turning or bottoming out.
*and by the way this information is for helping a friend of mine*

i would say either hotchkis or H&R, i had the hotchkis springs and swapped them out for the H&R Coil Overs. im begning to think i should have gotten the H&R springs instead of the hotchkis springs, just because i lvoe the coilovers so much

i was thinking about going with the tein s tech springs, because i want more of a drop but i dont want to watch how i drive and worry about rubbing.

well if you dont want to watch how you drive and you dont wanna worry about rubbing then you DONT wanna go with s-techs. they have one of the lowest drops available for our car. like i said i would go with hotchkis or H&R both have nice drops that will give the car a great stance, and they wont rub with stock wheels and a lot of other wheel combinations as long as the offsets are right.
but you will probably scrap with any drop thats just how it goes. andyou have to watch how you drive with a lowered vehicle. anyways i would go with either one of those companies. or even the TRDs, or Tien H-TEchs just search the "Show Me Your Lowered tC" thread and pick out which drop you like the most.
IMO, i would just save up and get coilovers

you can lower your car with any kind of springs and not have any issues if youre gonna keep your stock rims.

yep, stock wheels will not rub at all. it's when you start to go wider and lower offsets, that you start to rub.
